Served as the head of the largest engineering organization on campus. My duties included planning events, coordinating with researchers and company representatives, promoting engineering and its applications, and sending out communications to members.
• Enhanced the UAlbany tech community by establishing modes for communication between all majors interested in the IEEE and our mission.
• Hosted recruitment events with Google, Global Foundries, Cisco, Gartner, KAPL, and General Electric.
• Conducted workshops in Professional Development, Technical Interview Preparation, Intro to Web Development, Website Creation, React.js, and Linux Systems.
• Hosted researchers from the local IEEE section as well as other universities to present about innovations in the field.
• Built club foundations by creating official constitution and bylaws, leaving precedence for future student leaders to abide by.
• Oversaw all club operations including but not limited to email correspondence, finances, outreach, marketing, and event planning.
