• Performed experimental investigations, in collaboration with Chevron, on the structural changes of asphaltenes (a component of crude oil that grows and precipitates as a result of temperature and pressure changes, causing crude extraction problems).

• Led a team of chemical engineers in performing a series of experiments to study the effect of inhibitors on the asphaltene destabilization and growth at multiple length scales using X-Ray Scattering techniques.
