• Led a project to remove barriers for buyers with certain loan types. Implemented short-term solutions to address immediate needs and later released a reconfigured product page to allow agents to manage these complex scenarios.
• Helped implement a new financial product which reduced appraisal protection gap losses from almost 2% to below 0.30%.
• Led an initiative to implement typing across our Python backend code to improve the dev experience, reduce errors, and mitigate runtime issues, resulting in the addition of typing to 80% of our models.
• Co-led a weekly department-wide technical meeting during which we brought engineers from across teams together to discuss ideas and pain points and facilitate solutions.

• Designed and developed a web application to automate calculation and contribution of repo margin curves and provide impact analysis on PNL, saving traders 3 to 4 hours per week. (React, C#).
• Refactored and maintained the desk’s core monitoring application (C#), to improve overall response time and memory usage by 30% and maximize user experience.
• Upgraded the user management system to adapt to growing business requirements. Set up a clean database architecture with stricter constraints and developed new user management portal (React, C#)
• Restructured and upgraded the continuous delivery platform. Segmented the dev and prod environments, setup continuous builds and upgrade tools (Teamcity, Octopus); to reinforce, accelerate and declutter the delivery process.
• Introduced Jira to the team and helped setup and maintain sprint cycles.

• Implemented features and maintained the treasury desk’s trading application (C#). E.g., developed a feature to let traders secure their activity in case of market volatility.
• Developed a C# tool to automate configuration deployment to production. Cutting down deployment time from 1 hour to 5 minutes.
• Set up an Elastic Search cluster to monitor the trading platform’s performance, which highlighted substantial duplicate packets sent across pricing services and flagged important latency issues.
• Supported trading applications across multiple desks (Treasury, IRS, Credit) and assisted traders with their technical challenges.
