After achieving digital transformation of its acquirer (MassMutual), Haven Life officially relaunched as Haven Technologies, commercializing its insurance software and platform to help carriers and the industry at large. I focused on the R&D for these new products, shaping the core product strategy and shipping our MVPs alongside sales, marketing, design, engineering, and our executive team. These carrier products provide non-technical users at insurance carriers the means to easily configure and launch digital insurance products and then manage sold policies all in a faster, clearer, and more collaborative way.

HavenTech was previously known as Haven Life, offering simple consumer insurance products online. Our small team was responsible for the consumer experience spanning growth, retention, monetization, and pmf expansions. We used user research methods, a/b tests, marketing collaborations, and platform team collaborations to grow total purchases/conversion (adoption) and improve NPS/Churn (retention) for our industry leading direct to consumer life insurance site, havenlife.com. We also partnered with design and actuarial science on insurance design and pricing (monetization), introducing new novel insurance products to the entire united states market (pmf expansions).

As a recent graduate, I was fortunate enough to be trusted and tasked with managing and executing the digital marketing budget. Alongside brand & design, I managed all social, display, SEM, and SEO marketing campaigns. My core focus was running experiments to optimize channel performance, and enabling executive decisioning through analytics on LTV, CAC, and marketing channel results. After a year, I followed a mentor to a new company where I could begin developing as a product manager.

Merion Dental Partners was a short-lived private equity venture focussed on creating enterprise value through the consolidation and management of dental practices in the Philadelphia area. We evaluated over 100 potential targets, developed 12+ acquisition pipeline, and 3 negotiations. I developed our pipeline until final negotiations and created all transaction materials including LOI, offer sheets, and valuations (DCF, Comps). Unfortunately investment capital became a bottleneck and I began searching for new entrepreneurial opportunities in startups.
