Created comprehensive automative and performance tooling to evaluate TeraChem, which is a powerful general-purpose quantum chemistry package developed and owned by the Martinez Group that runs on NVIDIA GPUs.

Developed experiments to evaluate the cognitive load of subjects as they drive to evaluate when they ought not to be interrupted by automotive software. This included developing a MacOS app, designing driving courses with OpenDS, and incorporating data from 5+ physiological sensors.

Worked with Dr. Louis Allamandola and his postdoctoral fellows to implement the ability to view the vibrational modes of PAHs in NASA AMES’ public database (http://www.astrochem.org/pahdb/) and simulate time-of-flight mass spectrometers. Returned the following summer to work with Dr. Steve Howell on analyzing data from the Kepler space mission concerning the affect of large planets on the rotational speed of their parent stars.
