• Collaborated with a team of six members to design and build a single-seat, all-terrain, sporting vehicle whose structure contained the driver
• Developed a $14,000 budget analysis to present to the Dean of Engineering for project funding
• Researched, innovated, and executed a CVT and gear box combination from the engine to provide speed and torque to the Baja vehicle using Solid Works, ANSYS, and MATLAB to model and test designs
• Will be competing against one-hundred national and international collegiate teams for the project’s design to be accepted for manufacture by a fictitious firm from June 7-10, 2017 at the Caterpillar Edwards Demonstration and Learning Center in Peoria, Illinois
