As a biobanking programmer, I created a unified biospecimen database and web-based search interface from scratch to enable greater collaboration between researchers at UC Davis. I am responsible for the design, full-stack development, and maintenance of the search interface as well as an onboarding website to help biobanks import their specimen collections. I also develop ETL pipelines for each biobank to simplify the data import process.
