As a Fullstack MERN developer a Vigor Systems, I refine our Digital Asset Management product on a daily basis:
• Actively engage with the Product Team to identify, plan and develop new application features or improved User Experience
• Participate in AGILE environment via processes of daily Stand-ups, week long sprints, refinement meetings, and bi-weekly retros and refactorum meetings. We record and track sprint progress using JIRA.
• Contributor to the maintenance and extension of our REST APIs using Node, Express and MongoDB
• Act as Product Owner for Edisen User Interface
• Act as Product Owner of our upcoming v3 REST API
• Act as the Product Owner of our Node Security module responsible for managing CORS and Response Headers with HelmetJS
• Initiated the conversion of our OneVigor product to React JS using ES6 Javascript and Component Architecture
• Convert initial Class-based components to Functional Components to use new React features such as hooks, useState, useEffect and useMemo
• Designed Application State Management using Redux; Introduced it's replacement with the React Context API after React introduced State Management features
• Implemented integrations to Third Party APIs including Segment, Intercom and Cloudinary
• Contributed to developing improved Search features using Elasticsearch and Kibana
• Design Application Data Model and implemented Model Classes and Mongo Schemas used to interact with MongoDB
• Interfaced with a Microservice architecture using RabbitMQ to create scalable consumers
• Use a suite of AWS Services to support our Cloud-based Architecture, where my contributions include EC2, S3, and SQS
