Managed day-to-day operation of Bread's Credit Decisioning, Anti-Fraud, Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and Consumer Identity engineering team.

Projects included extensive performance tuning of iFrames, pay-over-time payment options embedded directly in eCommerce platforms (no redirect), "Express Prequalification", a four-field checkout (the shortest application in the history of consumer lending), and "SplitPay", a new 4-payment credit card product.

Change My World Now was a social network for kids aged 6 to 13 focusing on empathy education, with a goal of empowering kids to take the future into their own hands.

As the Director of Engineering at at CMWN, I was directly responsible for all software development tasks, overseeing and directing a team of five engineers. I reported to the VP of Product and was responsible for communicating technical details upwards and product requirements back to the development team. I was also ultimately responsible for the selection of architecture, day to day operations, and engineering hiring.

While at CMWN, I led a successful internship program for an additional five development interns, two of whom I kept on after the program as junior developers.

The CMWN platform was an SPA in React that communicated to a microservice backend, with the primary platform API in Zend PHP. All infrastructure is built on AWS.
