• Drove rapid backend delivery of sales, royalties, and listening analytics features for audiobook creators (previous source of greatest negative sentiment among creators).
• Tech-lead across 3 new scrum teams of 24: established onboarding, design, coding, database SOPs & built multi-year technical roadmap.
• Architected and built several back-end Java AWS services – e.g. to close major security vulnerabilities & fix daily region-wide customer outages for Alexa AI.
• Led company wide effort to overhaul Audible’s audio file creation pipeline to provide all customers with spatial audio & 75% audio file space savings.
• Designed, researched, and developed prototypes for a series of brand-new, high-priority tech domains for Audible (including VR, 3D Audio).
• Member of Audible’s invitation-only AWS 10-person advisory board; regularly advised 200+ developers at Audible on building services in AWS.
