EHS Director
• Leadership Team member responsible for managing Chemical Safety, Biological Safety, Emergency Response, Laboratory Safety, Healthcare Safety, Ergonomics, and Environmental Compliance Programs for all MSK operations at the main hospital campus as well as all satellite facilities in NY and NJ.
• Manages EHS staff and provides EHS guidance/direction to hospital and laboratory management and staff.
• Works with EHS staff to develop performance goals, strategies, and metrics to achieve continuous EHS improvements for the organization.
• Responsible for all aspects of EHS regulations and requirements at MSK which employs in excess of 16,000 employees and onsite contractors.

• Site Leadership Team member reporting to Site Director/VP of Operations responsible for managing EHS and Security Departments with a total of 25 staff members.
• Responsible for all aspects of EHS and Security regulations and Corporate GSK requirements at the Zebulon GKS site which employs in excess of 1,000 employees and onsite contractors.
• Manages all site compliance programs including OSHA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Solid Waste, Pollution Prevention, and Waste subject to DEA requirements.
• Interacts with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversees activities of 20 member onsite Fire Brigade and Emergency Response Team.
• Develops and implements onsite sustainability programs and promotes Environmental Stewardship initiatives. Tracks and trends data against Corporate goals and objectives.
• Site EHS and Security responsibilities cover three onsite pharmaceutical operations including Solid Dose Manufacturing, Multi Dose Inhaler (MDI) production, and Multi Dose Powdered Inhaler (MDPI) production.
• EHS Lead on Ellipta expansion project, a greater than 100 Million Dollar building and production expansion of the MDPI operations to launch Breo and Ellipta products.

EHS Programs include OSHA, Potent Compound Containment, RCRA, Underground Storage Tanks, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Solid Waste Management, and Pollution Prevention.
• Interacts with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provides EHS oversight and coordination for the introduction of new products, technology transfer projects, and process improvements from the Cranbury R&D site to the Wilson and Durham manufacturing sites.
• Identifies and implements potent compound containment solutions for solid dose manufacturing processes. Conducts IH monitoring to target improvement opportunities and to verify effectiveness of implemented containment projects.
• Identifies new facility and equipment design specifications and requirements for a new manufacturing site in Durham currently under construction. Also completed ESAs for selection of new site.
• EHS Lead on new greenfield site in Durham including: Planning and design for the facility and equipment; Development of EHS user requirements and specifications; Applications and implementation for required EHS permits, EHS construction oversight for General Contractor and subcontractors; and Equipment Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and validations.
