As part of the Subscriptions - Growth team, I worked on providing Marketing the ability to create, preview and test different notifications on www.washingtonpost.com article pages. This meant rearchitecting how these were created, built & delivered, with a focus on performance.
We achieved a 59% improvement in time to render (down to about 300ms!) for the paywall and lead generating on-site notifications which are important growth drivers. Alongside of this, I created an internal tool to configure these notifications so it was easy to create sales, promotions and event tests all while leveraging the new architecture in place.
