Software engineer on the Martech Leads Engineering team at Avalara. Responsible for all things related to lead analytics and processing for sales, marketing automation, and integrations between our partners and Avalara's marketing systems.
• Redesigned Avalara's lead intake system to an AWS serverless architecture, improving performance, increased sales due to higher conversion speeds, and eliminated technical debt from unnecessary licenses and integrations.
• Developed an automated workflow system using a trained GPT4 model for sanitizing and processing incoming leads, analyze lead data and extract key sales insights from the payload, and scoring leads algorithmically based on sales metrics and profitability.
• Developed an agentic chat application to engage customers on Avalara's website, using a trained model to provide intelligent questioning and understand the client's product needs, as well as curated sales profile based on the customer's intake data.
• Developed robust API systems for automation of lead processing from social media advertisements, gathering analytics data from client-side visitors using Adobe, and integrations with Avalara clients to funnel leads into sales.
• Developed internal administrative tools for campaign managers, providing automated workflow solutions for uploading large csv sales data from Avalara sponsored events and providing analytics.
