As of March 2019 I assumed the technical lead role for my team at VMware. As a tech lead I still play an integral role in software development, but also have the additional responsibility of managing my team as we develop features, invest internally, and resolve customer defects. My responsibilities as tech lead include working with the product management team to design and develop industry leading cloud management software. I also help plan, manage, and mentor our development team to insure we maintain velocity and develop the highest quality work possible.
As a senior software engineer I have worked full stack on our cloud management SaaS application. Languages and technologies I work in include Typescript, React, Java, Spring, AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, AWS, and GraphQL. I have generally focused on the customer facing part of the stack: Frontend/UI and APIs

Localytics is a mobile analytics and marketing company that helps app developers and companies expand engagement with their users at all stages of the user lifecycle.
At Localytics, I worked in a variety of roles and helped move the company forward in many ways. I started off as a DevOps engineer working with internal tools and monitoring that helped power our product teams to be more effective. This included working with our AWS infrastructure and the tooling that managed it. After becoming experienced in DevOps, I transitioned to more traditional product work for the consumer facing dashboard. My product-driven development included work on an angularJS frontend with a Ruby on Rails backend and an additional rails driven json API. My time at Localytics gave me broad experience in a wide array of languages and specialities
