Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2008 (stored procedures, triggers, functions, security, and SSIS. Developed .Net Class Libraries (component Dlls). Heavy use of and interaction with other related technologies such as XML, XSLT, IIS 6.0, and SQL Server 2008.

Some of the applications developed are:

Member Documents Archive – Visual Studio 2008, .Net Framework 3.5. VB.Net Application to retrieve member documents from a vendor server over HTTP and archive them to SQL Server database. Heavy use of .Net Framework 3.5 classes in System.Net, System.IO, and System.Data namespaces.

Redesign Company’s Website – (ASP.Net front end, SQL Server 2005 back end). Completely redesigned MCU’s website (www.nymcu.org). Used .Net framework 1.1 as base, VB.Net as front end and SQL Server 2005 as back end. The site was built to be fast, efficient, esthetically pleasing, user friendly, and easy to navigate. Design included daily interaction with our E-Commerce department and other stakeholders. ***Application Update*** Currently, I am in the process of upgrading the website to .Net framework 3.5/SQL Server 2008. Also, I am making the site more dynamic and database driven.

Loan Accounting System:

Tools used: .NET Framework, XML Web Services, Cold Fusion Application Server, Cold Fusion Studio, CSS, JavaScript, IIS 5.0, SQL Server 7.0, VB.NET.; Used .Net Web Services to expose payment calculation results to client application.

Created Screens necessary to enter, modify, delete and search loan related information.

Created custom validation both on client side using JavaScript and on server side using Cold Fusion.

Used CSS to style output.

Wrote Stored Procedures to handle calculation of interest and principal for various loan types.

Batch Reporting/Distribution System:

Tools used: COM/DCOM, XML, XSLT, VB 6.0, SQL Server 7.0, ADO 2.5, CDO 1.21, OUTLOOK, EXCHANGE, WORD.

Created custom DCOM objects to encapsulate business logic and database connectivity.

Used VB 6.0/ADO and XML/; to create custom reports and convert them to HTML format.

Wrote Stored Procedures on the server to handle database processing logic.

Used CDO/OUTLOOK/EXCHANGE to send out reports to customers.

Remote Time Entry System:

Tools used: ASP 2.0, IIS 4.0, HTML, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript, DOM, SQL Server 7.0, Informix 7.30, COM, Visual InterDev 6.0, Front Page 2000, ADO 2.5, XMLHTTP, CSS.

Wrote ASP pages, used Visual InterDev.

Used VBScript and JavaScript for server and client side scripting.

Validated Data on both client and server side.

Used FrontPage to design user interface.

Created custom COM objects (ActiveX DLL), which are used for back end processing.

SQL Server 7.0 was used as a back end for this application.

Financial Reporting System:

Tools used: SQL Server 7.0, Informix 7.30, VB 6.0, Crystal Reports 7.0/8.0, ADO 2.1.; Used Stored Procedures and T-SQL to write most of processing logic on the server.

Used VB 6.0 to create GUI.

Used Crystal Reports to create sophisticated custom reports.

Used Parameters for both Stored Procedures and Crystal Reports to help make the application very efficient and minimize processing time.

Created custom DTS packages in SQL Server to transfer data on a scheduled basis from main accounting database on Informix to main reporting database on SQL Server.

Outlook/Exchange Distribution List Management System:

Tools used: Outlook 2000, CDO 1.21, ADSI 2.5, LDAP, Outlook 9.0 Object Library, VB 6.0, Exchange 5.5, COM Objects, Outlook VBA.; Used Outlook Object Library and Collaboration Data Objects to access Distribution Lists and mailboxes' properties on Exchange Server.

Used ADSI and LDAP to create and delete Global Distribution Lists and to add and remove members.

Used custom COM objects as part of the nightly process to finalize all changes requested during the day.

Used VB 6.0 to build custom user interface.

Inventory Application for the Wholesale Company:
