• Driving product roadmap for Service Mesh component (Istio) and collaborating across stakeholders to ensure our product has reliable, safe, and observable traffic routing.

• Designed and implemented service mesh lifecycle management which gave infra operators a single pane of glass to manage upgrades and fallbacks with zero-downtime, rapid rollback, and failure isolation.

• Designed global organization API, policy and integration interfaces to extend GDCH deployments from single-zone to multi-zone to enable zonal failover and disaster recovery.

• Authored onboarding artifacts and leading onboarding of team members (6) onto the Service Mesh component.
