Personalization and content recommendations for Spotify’s 1B+ listeners and creators.

Supported a new engineering org’s growth in a 0-1 space for professionals. My team built the AI/ML infra and knowledge graph embeddings that power follow, tweet, and topic recommendations for professionals, merchants, and creators on twitter.

Previously, I supported Twitter's recommended notifications. My team built Twitter's notification product and platform and scaled it to 3M RPS (1B notifications sent per day). Notifications became the top contributor to Twitter's mDAU growth. 15% of Twitter’s mDAU growth YoY was driven by recommended notifications and notification surfaces (push/in-app/lockscreen). Launched new notification types, channels, and surfaces as well as online learning and feature modeling for ML driven notifications.

Built core features for the DM product. Helped build, design, and scale Twitter DMs. Shipped DM reactions, DM notifications, open/closed DMs, group chats, and end to end encrypted DMs.
