Morgan Walker designed and implemented a strategy to increase students’ efforts to learn English. Moreover, she converted incoming videos to MP4 using AWS so students on a variety of devices could view tutor lesson videos. Morgan also increased team productivity by reducing internal work and automating students’ ability to pause their own subscriptions. Additionally, she reformatted the login process so students are more likely to create an account.

Morgan Walker mentored students to solidify their understanding of artificial intelligence and object oriented programming in C++.

Morgan Walker designed a costing tool using human centered design practices to determine the number of medicinal commodities required when Last Mile Health, an NGO in Liberia, delivers care to its remote areas. She also developed a program using Python, SQL, and Pandas to read the Demographic Health Survey data to determine disease incidence rates and demographic population numbers of rural Liberia. This work was conducted under Professor Smilowitz and funded by the Undergraduate Research Institute.
