As the engineering head of consumer payments (aka "Meta Pay") experiences pillar, I support engineering teams working on checkout and payment experiences on offsite advertiser surfaces and Meta's messaging apps (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram direct) across the globe, with a focus on increasing ad-click/checkout conversion rate for the advertisers and providing more streamlined payment experiences for the consumers. In addition, our products help serve more relevant ads for the consumers.
I lead multiple full-stack teams to efficiently build and test multiple innovative 0->1 products to test product-market fit and then scale them to generate 100s of millions dollars of incremental revenue for Meta.
Prior to this (2019-2021), I led team owning the backend payment processing infrastructure for Calibra/Novi's cryptocurrency wallet (Novi), which was critical part of Calibra/Novi's 0->1 build and pilot launch in 2021.
