Researched, developed and delivered technical long-term and mid-term initiatives. Examples include using scepter templating, creating

company-wide AWS Service Catalogs, leveraging AWS WAF, adding CloudWatch Alarming, and migrating to Github Actions.

Designed from the ground up a fully automated CICD pipeline using JavaScript, Cypress, Jenkins & AWS ECR.

Championed the Scrum Master role for an 8 person team while as an IC. Worked closely with Product and Design to translate business requirements into technical solutions resulting in a 20% increase in accomplished Jira Stories and completed initiatives.

Led GoDaddy’s initiative to prioritize Web Accessibility (A11Y) from design to delivery. Contributed A11Y improvements to enterprise-wide React components and implemented A11Y CICD using tools such as cypress-axe and jsx-a11y linters. Won first place and 2x NPS score for my A11Y coding workshops taught to an engineering audience of 100+. As a result, GoDaddy significantly reduced their WCAG 2.0 violations.

Designed and developed modularized React Components that enable domain search and purchase experiences across GoDaddy. Leveraged technologies such as React, JavaScript, Lerna, Linaria, Github Actions and Artifactory. As a result, multiple teams were able to reuse highly configurable and turn-key components to better engage customers.

Cross-team collaborated to seamlessly integrate a major API and product data structure migration. As a result, the migration was deployed without regression and with improved configurable functionality.

Led team in designing the architecture, user experience, and product strategy of a company-wide platform solution intended to schedule, host, and scale Spark Applications on Kubernetes.

Designed, implemented and maintained a company-wide open-sourced framework extending the Apache Spark API used by engineers and data analysts to better integrate with Capital One’s technological ecosystem and accelerate the development cycle of Spark Applications.

Developed a CICD strategy allowing users to deploy Spark Applications once hosted on the mainframe to cloud-native clusters in an automated fashion.

Advised engineers and data analysts on their strategy to migrate mainframe-hosted big data applications to AWS, with security, automation, resiliency, and consistency as a priority.
