Motorola Mobility manufactures and sells Mobile handheld devices throughout the world. The data from various source systems R12(Transactional-RDBMS), MDW(Dimensional-RDBMS), UPD(WebMethods), Salesforce and FTP fetch is loaded into BigQuery. The team handles the Shipment/Orders/Product/Portfolio/Customer data for analytics. The shipment data for motorola mobility is handled with Talend Enterprise Edition for Big Data. Here we are using Tableau for reporting.

The assignment involved development of proof of concept/pilot development for using Talend for transferring the data from legacy system to the strategic database using the Talend ESB. The strategic DB is exposed using webservices, which is invoked by Talend ESB.
