Responsibilities:
• Manage and deliver on a large portfolio of key OCI initiatives with a special emphasis on VCNCP Backend.
• Develop a prioritized roadmap of products, features, and engineering asks.
• Work closely with a variety of stakeholders (other OCI teams, Oracle Corp teams, product management) to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectively
* People management.
• Build, manage, coach and grow engineering teams.
Major Projects:
• Roll out tailor-made per-box validation to increase the P9999 availability of the backend service via the new framework.
• Improving the performance of Distribution Service to support higher throughput.
Distribution Service is a high throughput service responsible for distributing the customer configuration to other data and control plane services.
• Led the team to work on efficiency-related improvements to reduce the VNICaaS epoch latency. This resulted in the reduction of P999 latency in the high-traffic regions by up to 90%.
VNIC as a Service (VNICaaS) is a VNIC implementation service. These are scalable interfaces that carry out the functionality of multiple VNICs while being managed as a single VNIC.
• Delivering security-related features that were requirements for the JWCC contract.
Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) contract allows the US DOD to directly acquire commercial cloud offerings at all classification levels to serve missions from headquarters to the tactical edge.
• As a Bartender, I interview candidates for Oracle, offer an impartial perspective on hiring, and maintain consistent leveling across the company.

Responsibilities:
• To design and implement large-scale distributed software applications.
• Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.
• Develop the team to deliver the required components and tools to optimize and maintain the systems.
Major Projects
• Introducing Highly Confidential Data support in Sable.
Sable is Amazon's E-Commerce Storage and Computation platform, offered as a hosted service, to power Amazon’s retail and digital businesses and at peak can handle more than 60MM TPS with an average get latency of less than 4 milliseconds.
• Building ingestion adapters, job manager, backfill support mechanism and load balancers for Dataflux.
Dataflux is a multi-tenant hosted service that allows customers to propagate data in a streaming fashion from data sources such as SQS, Sable, and DynamoDB to OLAP data stores such as Data Warehouse (DW) and Redshift.
• Adding QOS features on the Datapath compute platform.
Datapath is the Tier-1 compute platform that works with Sable and DynamoDB and allows the creation of server-less logical services. Datapath processes hundreds of billions of transactions daily and the clients can use Java code or proprietary query language to react on to the updates on the NoSQL databases.
• PHT and Cold-Tier integration with Universal Router.
Universal Router is the service that fronts the traffic to Sable and allows the integration of other technologies with the Sable eco-system. PHT and Cold-Tier are
