At eBay, I worked across multiple teams and functions, building deep expertise in consumer marketing, product development, growth strategy, and cross-functional leadership.
Consumer Marketing & New Product Launch: Played a lead role in building and launching a new consumer selling service from concept to market. I supported and led a team of four and owned a $5M marketing budget, driving end-to-end strategy including positioning, messaging, agency partnership, and integrated activation across email, display, paid search, social, radio, OOH, and experiential channels. Continuously optimized performance and regularly presented results and insights to senior leadership, product, and cross-functional teams.
Social Strategy & Growth: Led foundational research that shaped eBay’s (then-new) social media strategy, informing both organic and paid social execution and enabling scalable engagement and acquisition programs.
Paid Search & Performance Marketing: Owned paid search optimization efforts, negotiating keyword bids with Google and MSN, identifying inefficiencies, and launching testing frameworks that drove a 5% lift in ROI and delivered $XM in cost savings. Expanded remarketing tactics to improve conversion and efficiency.
Brand Marketing: Onboarded and managed eBay’s agency of record, led consumer research to develop brand messaging, and oversaw creative execution across digital, TV, and out-of-home. Drove campaigns focused on increasing brand consideration and long-term equity.
Loyalty & Revenue Growth: Developed the overarching loyalty marketing strategy that generated $XM in incremental revenue through 100+ campaigns supporting Coupons and eBay Bucks. Executed across email, onsite, affiliate, and social channels, and partnered with major retailers including Dell, Toys’R’Us, Jockey, KitchenAid, and Calvin Klein.
