IBM Storage Scale Core FVT (GPFS)

• Redesign and maintained lab infrastructure for research and coursework: managed 3 HPC's (inference, training, and control node), a Pi Cluster, a 5-node M1 iMac cluster, and a lab of Intel NUC's. I created and hosted services for our department, gpt.hydra.newpaltz.edu for hosting LLM models, hydra.newpaltz.edu/dashboard for sites, and several other projects.

• Redesigned lab space by specifying and integrating new hardware, upgraded workstations, monitors, and network equipment, to enhance performance and support faculty research initiatives

• Enhanced lab security protocols, improved hardware and software practices, ensured proper equipment usage, and maintained systems for a robust academic environment

• Provided advanced technical support and assisted faculty research alongside regular lab assistant duties

• TA for Assembly Language & Computer Architecture (CPS330) and Principles of Programming Languages (CPS393)

• Supporting 50+ students via running labs, study sessions, and office hours

• Graded assignments, exams, and projects; ran review sessions during labs to boost comprehension

• Integrated LCC.js, a JS-based assembler/interpreter, for interactive coding demos (hydra.newpaltz.edu/lccjs)

• Assisted with the development of various study materials and student projects, as well as worked with faculty to refine curriculum and enhance programming skills

• Built and deployed 3D printer's, networking solutions, servers and setup maker-space environments/configured and maintained a Linux workstation lab

• Assisted in site maintenance, server backups, and SSO authentication tools.
