The Risk & Fraud team is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Eventbrite as a trusted platform for creators and the millions of people using the site to find fun events and share live experiences. As a backend engineer it has been my responsibility to develop tools and infrastructure for detecting and preventing fraud, spam, abuse, and content violations on one of the world's largest ticketing platforms.

On the Customer Portal Automation team, I developed a web scraping platform for a Fortune 500 company to automate the tracking of assigned work and the submission of invoices using an event-driven, microservices architecture. In addition to developing new scrapes, I led initiatives to make the system configuration-driven and built admin tools to manage the configuration data, making it easy to view and adjust scrape schedules, notification settings, etc.
