• ROOM8 is a platform for aggregating properties, matching roommates, and providing insurance.

• Facilitated partnership with 40B insurance carrier Liberty Mutual.

• Founded, organized, and led the Data Engineering Team, reporting directly to the CTO.

• Architected, designed, and built the core data systems for over 600K End Users for data ingestion, filtering, and recommendations.

• Managed the Data Engineering team (5 people) and actively developed, deployed, and maintained cloud data systems on AWS/GCP.

• Successfully participated in a corporate sponsored spin out of our next generation renter’s insurance product (Millenial/Gen Z markets) as a Founding Engineer - helped secure funding from a Sand Hill Road VC.

• WMP (Working Memory & Plasticity) Lab at UCI conducts research on the effects of tech on the ability to acquire knowledge and learn skills.

• Designed and programmed educational games that are being used in lab research and currently being used as learning materials in areas of extreme poverty in Brazil.

• Live-streaming music app that delivers the concert experience right into the user’s hands.

• Implemented push notifications using Firebase, in-app purchases in both stores with backend authentification using receipts, and deep-linking using Firebase and Branch.
