• Led a high-performing team responsible for Platform Infra for Google Play, including Search Infra, ML Infra, Recommendations Infra and Play Catalog Management and Serving.

• Founded the Google Play ML Infra team; developed a feature store, unified training infra and model serving system. Established these systems as standards for the org.

• Served as Privacy Lead for Google Play, reviewing privacy-impacting launches from across all parts of Play.

• Modernized, with a complete revamp, Play's search indexing and serving system. Developed a low-latency indexing system with O(s) latency. Rebuilt Play's search serving system on latest websearch infra, and incorporated websearch ranking algorithms.

• Proposed and led development of a recommendations framework for AI/ML and collaborative-filtering-based recommendations, now used on all major Play surfaces.

• Led development of Play's next-gen catalog serving system, a large-scale distributed system serving over 100M QPS with mean latency of 5ms.

• Led team of 16 working on Personal Search Infra, building search indexing and serving systems to make private user data searchable, including Gmail messages, Google Drive docs, Google Calendar events, Google Plus messages, and more.

• Headed successful multi-year, cross-org collaborations to launch Gmail and G+ search on Personal Search Infra systems.
