Gusto is a modern, online people platform that helps small businesses take care of their teams. I worked on Hiring Tools (ATS, Onboarding, Background checks), Growth and Tax Credit teams. Responsible for deep customer research and insight gathering, 0->1 product design and handoff of high fidelity mocks and prototypes.

• Functioning as UX research and design team of one for an early-stage social activity planning startup.

• Conducted preliminary qualitative interview sessions to understand and evaluate user needs.

• Spearheading mobile-first design starting from low-fidelity prototypes and moving to high-fidelity wireframes for development.

• Developing a research roadmap for usability and A/B testing to further iterate on the product post launch

• Working in the beverage department, managed vendor relationships for stores in three states. Made process improvements to decrease pricing discrepancies and ensure reliable product delivery.

• Managed a holiday gift pack program worth over 600k in sales. Worked with internal stakeholders to develop packaging and contents. Coordinated food and beverage suppliers with our warehouse for product delivery and assembly. Communicated with staff at 250+ stores to implement product placement and eventual drawdown.

• Developed and iterated upon internal process improvements including tools for creating and tracking purchase projections, improving accuracy of inventory tracking, and communicating with vendors.
