Worked under Supervision of Prof. Julian Shun:

• Designed and implemented the first work-efficient parallel in-place radix sort.

• First-authored and presented "Theoretically-Efficient and Practical Parallel In-Place Radix Sorting" in ACM SPAA 2019.

• Re-designed a news feed receiver server into a library to be used in clients thus eliminating communication overhead between the server and clients.

• Implementation and tests in C++.

• Built a framework to convert and compare the in-house row-oriented storage file formats to two open source column-oriented file-formats: Apache Parquet and Apache ORC.

• Implemented and ran large test cases on hundreds of Gigabytes, ensuring the framework correctness and showing that if was deployed it will save quarter the space used to store the data.
