• Migrated stateful applications such as Storm and Redis to Kubernetes, greatly reducing the time required for operational tasks such as hardware failure recovery, new deployments, and upgrades

• Created an internal tool to compare article streams using React and D3 which led to shorter feedback cycles from product, faster editorial evaluation, and a useful debug tool used by engineers daily

• Added an async API to the internal Redis Java client to improve resource utilization and adoption of Redis

• Incorporated multiple OpenStack services into the product such as orchestration, metering, and application catalog services by using Angular.js in the frontend and Python REST APIs in the backend
