Senior Platform team member with a team mission of making it easier for customers to do business with Toast. Some of the initiatives I worked on include:

* A React based web application that makes it easier for prospective customers to fill out and sign a contract with Toast

* A web application that helps with keeping track of the association between businesses, restaurants, brands and bank accounts so the relationships among these entities are clear and easily manipulated by customers

* A data migration project for moving sensitive banking information to a secure location as part of meeting ASC 606 compliance

* A solution to securely handle Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in an event-sourced web application as part of meeting GDPR/CCPA compliance

Senior Platform team member with a team mission of maintaining data accuracy and consistency across 150k Toast Point of Sale(POS) devices serving over 30k restaurants. Some projects I worked on include:

* Tools for tracking, alerting and visualizing data syncing errors that occur as Toast POS devices communicate with Toast web services

* A web application that enabled teams drill into orders that are made in restaurants so as to help resolve data discrepancies if they occur

* Several enhancements of the data syncing layer to reduce discrepancies and optimize transactions. For example, a fault tolerance layer to protect Toast web services and improve resilience of Toast infrastructure

* Worked with the business team to scope out projects which involved porting ACL to non-Android platforms so as to enable Android apps run on such platforms.

* Worked with clients to seamlessly integrate ACL solutions into IVI systems.

* Collaborated with Google’s Widevine DRM (Digital Rights Management) team while implementing the security and cryptographic requirements needed to support Widevine DRM scheme on Honda’s IVI platform.

* Managed both engineering and QA teams involved with integrating ACL into Honda’s IVI platform.

* Assisted with other projects including the development of an Android app.
