At Insider I worked on the web application and infrastructure layer. Some of my contributions were:

✱ Created a data pipeline to power a search system. Tools: NodeJS, Typescript, Elasticsearch.

✱ Contributed to APIs and micro-services that make data available to internal and external clients. Tools: Golang, Php, MongoDB.

✱ Automated the WebdriverIO test suite by integrating it into the CI/CD pipeline. Tools: Jenkins, Docker, Shell, Selenium.

✱ Supported an important revenue stream by maintaining and extending a Syndication platform. Tools: Php, XSLT, Docker, SNS, SQS, S3.

✱ Rebuilt content processing jobs that pull data from external APIs. Tools: Golang, AWS Lambda, Redis.

✱ Created a CI/CD pipeline for the mobile app. Tools: Expo, Jenkins, S3, Slack.

✱ Created an alerting system to monitor cache control. Tools: Python, Sensu, Ansible.

As a Data Engineering Intern at Triplelift I performed diverse big data ETL tasks, assisted in maintaining business critical tools, and contributed to the codebase of several web applications built on microservices architecture.

✱ Contributed to the Triplelift’s Pipeline Manager, a web application that performs audit logging, job scheduling, dependency management, pipeline & data integrity monitoring. Technologies PHP 7, Symfony Framework, Docker, PGSQL.

✱ Performed various ETL and data processing tasks contributing to Triplelift’s business tools, data stores and several applications. Tasks included data backfills and data migrations leveraging Apache Spark, Parquet, Druid, S3, Redshift and MySQL.

✱ Contributed to TripleLift’s data pipeline by creating new data transformation/processing jobs as well as refactoring and improving on its core libraries by levering Apache Spark and Scala.

✱ Provided value-add to Triplelift by way of internal documentation updates, bug fixes, API maintenance and ongoing support of reporting tools. Technologies AngularJS, YAML, JSON, SQL.
