Ad Supply Personalization

I worked on scalable distributed big data pipelines and full-stack applications that provide actionable insights, alerts, and ML-powered recommendations.

The Audience Builder project aggregates internal and external data on all known companies, clusters and sanitizes it into a usable database, then surfaces the data along with machine learning insights to marketing teams for hypertargeted ad campaigns. My contributions to the project include the founding server API code and schema design for the web application, design and development of the pipeline exposing product data to downstream teams, website-based clustering/matching, and training of machine learning-based predicted spend models.

Business Controller for AdSense

• Developed public API for developers to monitor activity between components of their full stack applications using websockets

• Created a consolidated filterable front-end display which details all logs, requests, responses, notifications, and errors

• Provided functionality enabling the user to pause/resume monitor updates and restart/end the application server

• Implemented a performance visualization dashboard using Chart.js to monitor application and system performance

• Built robust testing suite using Jest and React Testing Library to provide assurance over WebSocket and React functionality

• Architected a GraphQL client for React that provides the performance advantages of atomic state management by allowing React components to subscribe to granular units of state and avoid unnecessary re-renders

• Integrated Jotai to cache and store data within the React Fibre Tree while allowing component access via custom React hook

• Designed and developed a normalized graph caching feature which traverses and stores GraphQL query results while restricting state updates to subscribed components in order to allow real-time cache invalidation detection

• Implemented depth-first-search algorithm that traverses the GraphQL Abstract Syntax Tree to parse queries and support advanced query syntax such as directives, variable inputs, custom resolvers, and local state queries
