• Worked closely with UX Designers and Product Managers to ensure their visions were completed accurately and efficiently under expected timelines

• Tech lead for a team of engineers working on a reusable UI component library utilizing the latest dev tools and practices, while maintaining a heavy focus on accessibility

• Completed a full redesign of the Khoros Platform’s login screens, including dependency upgrades and vast accessibility improvements

• Added multi-factor authentication to the login process, allowing users to choose from 4 methods of authentication

• Mentored new hires, assisting with their environment setup, setting up our front-end repos, and helping to ensure best practices are implemented

• Refactored an existing Navigation bar built in Backbone.js to meet the needs of all products across the Khoros platform, including the flexibility to meet future acquisitions’ needs

• Implemented a unified login experience across the two major products in the Khoros platform: one built with React/Redux and the other built with Google Web Toolkit

• Work on a team of software engineers to produce a GUI for toll road operators to maintain and monitor their tolling systems

• Built a new Angular 5+ application from the ground up to replace existing legacy applications (Legacy apps were built using jQuery / AngularJS)

• Interface with individuals from the middleware and database teams on a daily basis to discuss the best way to implement new features in our projects

• Use Agile/Scrum methodologies to produce products in a timely, efficient, and effective manner

• Lead (and document) daily stand-ups and scrum meetings for the UI/UX team

• Maintain legacy applications while newer UI is in-progress (jQuery, AngularJS)

• Interact with both RESTful and SOAP APIs to provide data to our GUI application

• Contribute to preliminary design meetings (UI, MW, and DB) when we are tasked with implementing a new feature
