Development of the core newsreader app for both iPhone and iPad as well as development of the Watch App for the NYTimes. Additionally responsible for all things Push Notifications in these apps. Specifically dealing with news and non-news related push notifications as well as breaking news alerts.

Completely refactored the Weddings API for performance and stability, created necessary backend administration tools for users in the newsroom. Developed and maintained the Recipes and Restaurants APIs.

Created an internal communications tool used for sending alerts to mobile users such as breaking news alerts to mobile devices including: Apple, Android, Kindle Fire and Windows. Extended system to include our nytimes.com website for additional messages for account management and user retention.

Managed a team of 4 developers to build and maintain the commenting platform for the nytimes.com website. Refactored an old RESTful, in-house built framework for the API switching to the Yii framework.
