◆ Primary owner of the VR errorreporting infrastructure, consisting of client-side crash reporter/uploader service that creates/uploads detailed crash reports from AOSP postmortem data (tombstone, ANR, kernel panic), and the error-reporting backend that processes them - stack trace symbolication, crash categorization and attribution – handling crashes and ANR events from 300k daily active users per day across all Meta Quest platform. (2, 3, 3S, pro)
◆ Enabled OEM (Lenovo/Asus) adoption of Meta VR OS by redesigning new filesystem partition usage and service interaction models for reliability components, which include diagnostics collector, BugReporting SDK API, and crashreporter and uploader, and this work established the baseline & precedent for other VR service & library (~200 or so) integration workstreams.
◆ Defined many reliability strategies and introduced design practices for Meta-wide Android errorreporting infrastructure, which includes Instagram, Whatsapp, VR, AR, etc. Some recent highlights include universe-specific errorreporting pipeline and new crash categorization paradigms, which led to improved crash task actionability and initiatives to save memory, CPU budgets by identifying system hotspots, ultimately leading to below 3% error & system resource violation rates for market VR devices.
◆ Created AI agents & MCP servers to automate crash analysis and investigation, such as identifying gaps in current crash categorization scheme and proposing changes and submitting diffs, as well as using system-level information, such as ANR sigquit dump stack traces, tombstone threads, to identify consistent patterns across volume error report data.
◆ Designed the current VR service health and reliability measurement scheme being used by the VR org (~1200 engineers)/leadership topline metrics, which tracks crash, ANR, and system resource budget violation rates.

◆ Served as the primary developer for the first version of the Meta account device code authentication flow. Wrote most of the components for the Meta account, such as meta.com/device front-end, VR client-side device code UI, and device code authentication & polling APIs. I also wrote the logic to handle Meta account migration from the legacy Oculus account and designed the VR device-side re-authentication flow for both consumer and enterprise Meta accounts.

◆ Designed and implemented scalable multi-tenant device registration scheme, CI/CD, and most of the critical building blocks for the WorkPlaceJoin library, which enables passwordless authentication for Microsoft Authenticator and MDM for Company Portal app on iOS and MacOS.
◆ Made several open source contributions to MSAL, ADAL, and other iOS/MacOS authentication SDKs, such as multiple thread-safe data structures & APIs, which include client-side request throttling cache (LRUCache), and improved PKey auth logic.

◆ Developed Python scripts for generating comprehensive test summary reports for the performance gradient analysis of FPGA fabric & hardened components (ARM CPU, BRAM, etc) across different test conditions (voltage, temperature, etc.), which helped to identify critical design & process issues and for Xilinx Versal & UltraScale+ RFSoC device family.
◆ Led cross-org communication and alignments on the memory allocation & usage requirements for built-in-self-repair, device voltage trimming, ADC/DAC linearity fine-tuning, and other one-time programming instruction for Xilinx Versal.
