Collaborated with a team to support patients with diabetes in managing their health conditions through the development of innovative technologies. Key responsibilities included:

• Contributed to the rewriting of Lark Mobile, a mobile application for iOS and Android using React Native, HealthKit, GoogleFit, and react-query to help patients manage various health conditions related to diabetes.

• Actively participated in product launch lifecycle and production issue triaging and resolution, ensuring high-quality product delivery through test-driven development and code reviews.

• Collaborated with team members to build new features, perform unit testing, and resolve bugs.

• Ensured optimal product quality through continued implementation of test-driven development and code reviews.

• Designing solutions and implementing features to enhance product quality through test-driven development and code reviews.

• Improving the continuous integration pipeline and participating in shared Development Operation duties to maintain the platform's stability.

• Facilitating biweekly releases, identifying and resolving bugs, and preventing deployment blockers.

• Cleo for Families, a mobile app available on iOS and Android, that provides educational content, recommendations, and communication tools for families.

As an engineer at a company that produced the first and only FDA-approved digital therapeutics, I played a key role in developing products that helped patients improve their medical outcomes. Given the regulated nature of our products, I ensured strict adherence to regulations, including maintaining 98% test coverage, minimizing bugs in production, and documenting regulatory compliance.

I also collaborated with other teams to continuously improve engineering practices, setting the standard for future digital therapeutics. Notable projects I worked on include:

• Serving as the tech lead on hylia-api, a backend-for-frontend for the reset and reset-O mobile applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Contributing to the development of reSET and reSET-O, mobile applications for iOS and Android that assist users with addiction and opioid addiction, respectively.

• Refactoring the navigation system of the previous mobile applications with a more performant library, and migrating the crash reporting service.

• Implementing audio streaming and download for offline use, and atomic theming for a more consistent look and feel across the mobile applications.

• Organizing and facilitating Tech Talks, a monthly internal session for discussing technical topics with other team members.
