Hunt-And-Peck

An interactive typing program that displays WPM in real time as you type

• Used Materialize and custom CSS to design the front end

• Built API with Ruby on Rails for the back end

• Incorporated Highcharts to render real time WPM every second on a graph

• Main framework used for the project was JavaScript and Jquery utilizing MVC

SuperSearch

A unique way to search topics that peak your curiosity and take notes associated with said topics

• Used BootStrap and custom CSS to design the front end

• Built API with Ruby on Rails for the back end

• Main framework was built on React with multiple components

• Hit multiple API searches to maximize the search (Flickr, YouTube, Wikipedia)

DrawChat

A program that allows you to draw on a canvas with others while also being able to chat, all in real time

• Built with React for the front end and Ruby on Rails for back end API

• Utilized BootStrap and custom CSS for front end layout

• Implemented web sockets to provide real time updates (canvas and chat) to others who are also online

• Using New Relic for benchmarking

• Assumed all staff pharmacist duties

• Managed schedule for the pharmacy technician

• Filled DEA forms when ordering/returning government regulated drugs monthly

• Maintained the organization and layout of the pharmacy

• Received prescriptions and verified the validity, processed claims through insurance companies, alerted customers if there were any problems

• Effectively communicated with other appropriate healthcare professionals if there was a problem regarding the drugs that the customer was on

• Contacted insurance companies when there were issues with coverage on behalf of the customer
