• Proposed and designed with a Data Scientist an airport specific objective function for linear programming solver which replaced driver ETA with time-to-leave version which included factors like rider-driver inconvenience.
• Designed and implemented, unified queue solver for solving the bipartite graph matching problem at airports and venues with FIFO constraints which reduced the queue violations by ~97%.
• Led a team of 2 engineers and collaborated with 6+ peers across 3 teams and 2 sites to design, plan, implement and launch simultaneous pin and standard dispatch at airports.
• Spear-headed the engineering excellence effort across 5 teams in airports organization which included service reliability, incidents and follow-ups, on-call health, product quality and engineering foundation.
• Conducted weekly sync meeting for 5 teams to provide updates, call out wins and blockers and promote collaboration.
• Reduced supply contention across greedy and just-in-time matching algorithms by ~95%, resulting in improved marketplace health by designing and implementing dispatch strategy for airports.
• Updated the backend matching services written in Node.js and Go to enable airport priority dispatch celebration message in the driver application for diamond tier drivers as a part of Uber Rewards Pro program.
