Contributed to the development and infrastructure set up of several java based microservices which were developed using the spring boot framework and hosted on the AWS platform. Post development of these components, I was involved in the creation of the JMeter regression test suites and execution of the performance tests.

Conducted the backend development of a web application using nodejs. The web application

aims to aid the support staff in their day to day tasks. The application was consolidation of multiple microservices. I’d worked on the microservice that handled the authentication and authorization of the application.

Led the on-call support team which was dedicated to tackling production issues. This gave me exposure to a select few DevOps concepts and taught me how to cope in stressful situations.

I helped coordinate the client testing phase of a project. Coordinating this involved communicating with client regarding bug fixes, requirement clarifications and discussing accommodation of adhoc requirements.

Contributed to the development of a java based configuration refresh API which was used across the organisation to update per component configurations without having to reboot the component. This contributed to saving time and hence increasing productivity since this approach did not require waiting for the component to come back up post reboot.
