Implemented the Google CS First program curriculum on varies Boy and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley. My main focus is to raise the interests of youth in computer programming using Scratch coding, a coding platform developed by MIT. Over the past year volunteering for Americorps and interning over the summer, I had influence over 400 children and introduce them to computer science programming.

Designed a one-week coding camp called Scratch 5 Day challenge targeting age 8-14 children in the community. Implemented and led the week-long coding camp at Willow Glen Branch Library. Received great feedbacks afterward.

Instructed students, who have a variety of learning issues, from a variety of public and private schools in the South Bay Area in a safe and productive office environment.

Subjects that I teach include Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, and introduction to computer programming.

I was selected as a member of Braven based on leadership ability and potential. In Braven, I developed authentic leadership, personal narrative, and professional skills such as teamwork, advocacy, and problem-solving. In addition, one skill set that I learned is design thinking, which involves identifying a problem, conducting empathy-based research, and developing a solution through prototyping, testing, and iteration.

During Braven, My team and I conducted market research on behalf of Yahoo to help improve existing services, and we won the first place in the Capstone Challenge.

Hosted a two hours after school program for students that are endangered graduating from high school. Provided a safe and fun study environment for students, and encourage them to finish their high school education. In addition, I provided individual and small group tutoring to students to achieve academic success.
