• Lends her expertise in HCI & UI/UX design, React, Ruby/Ruby-on-Rails, and database administration to improve and maintain this startup’s internal customer support website.
• Acquired the language of Clojure to enhance the company’s flagship distributed micro-service system, entitled Charlie, which utilizes Docker, AWS suite (S3, EC2, Lambdas, and Step Functions), hipster batch, and Leiningen to screen incoming prescription refill requests for possible conflicts within physician-established protocols and the patient’s chart, and notifies delegated medical staff members of any potential harm to the patient if the prescription refill were to be completed.
• Exemplifies leadership by improving internal department workflow and cohesion via establishing feasible department meeting times for this distributed team across multiple time zones, and establishing an on-call rotation that evenly distributes the burden, clearly communicates who’s on-call, and streamlines transitions between shifts.

• Performed the roles of Director, Tech Lead, and Developer for all web-related services in the University Communications Department at Immaculata University.
• Oversaw and lead the planning and development of all web-based projects, while managing the university’s web-based technical infrastructure, a team of web development contractors, and a balanced budget.
• Utilized skills in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Drupal, WordPress, and web development best practices to manage, maintain, and enhance the university’s 10+ Drupal, WordPress, and PHP web application sites.

• After 1 year of collaborating with the Web Application Developer II, became the sole lead web developer responsible for all Senior Service America Inc. (SSAI) web development.
• Planned, designed, and implemented projects to help the elderly re-enter the workforce and bridge the digital divide, such as the company’s Online Job Application Tool she built from scratch in Ruby/Ruby-on-Rails, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• In 2014, began incorporating design skills acquired from Masters program in Human-Computer Interaction into projects at SSAI, such as the redesign of the company website’s homepage, which leveraged PHP, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and WordPress skills.
