* Reducing ATO and fraud losses across PayPal’s 25 billion transactions representing $1.5 trillion in payment volume to keep our customers and merchants safe.

I am on the board of FIDO alliance, an open industry association with a mission to reduce reliance on passwords by replacing it with phishing resistant asymmetric public key cryptography based authentication. The vision is to change the nature of authentication with open standards that are more secure than passwords and SMS OTPs, simpler for consumers to use, and easier for service providers to deploy and manage.
The FIDO Alliance works to fulfill its mission by:
* Developing technical specifications that define an open, scalable, interoperable set of mechanisms that reduce the reliance on passwords to authenticate users
* Operating industry certification programs to help ensure successful worldwide adoption of the specifications
* Submitting mature technical specification(s) to recognized standards development organization(s) for formal standardization

Led a product management team supporting a cross functional team of 225 engineers, designers, analysts to build full stack identity platform to power Sign Up, Authentication, Identity Proofing, Verified Identity Network, M&A Identity convergence experiences. The Identity platform consists of both user facing mobile app and web experiences, and the underlying services that power the Intuit ecosystem serving 100 million users.
Accountable for:
*Integrating Intuit’s two largest acquisitions, Credit Karma ($8 billion) and Mailchimp ($12 billion), to create a consumer financial platform and small business management financial platform through account linking, federated authentication, OIDC, account / profile management, exchanging risk signals through OIDC protocol / JWT claims.
*Building flexible onboarding, authentication, session management capabilities and intelligent user experiences that dynamically adapts to serve a diverse set of use cases at Intuit - from low risk time tracking to high risk large money movement.
*Reducing fraud and complying with regulations using identity verification and KYC capabilities (Government ID with Biometric, Phone Identity, etc), strong authentication (phishishing resistant FIDO authentication), ML models, velocity controls, continuous risk assessment based authentication.
* Supporting a platform modernization program to convert a legacy monolith platform to a decomposed microservices based platform to improve developer productivity, accelerate time to develop features, and support new use cases for Intuit’s AI-Driven expert platform era.
* Metrics such as sign up success rate and login success rate that measure identity platform’s efficacy to support acquisition and retention of users as well as fraud prevention.
* Representing Intuit at security advisory councils of government agencies such as IRS and liaising with technology standards organizations such as NIST to preserve and promote Intuit’s interests.

Supported a product team to build a world class e-commerce marketplace with the goal to improve marketplace liquidity by building trust enhancing features, and improving new buyer acquisition funnel and checkout conversion.

* Increasing checkout conversion by reducing undesired friction through a redesigned checkout page that integrated Facebook and Google login, shipping/billing address auto-correction feature, and a delightful low cognitive load modern experience.
