Lead a 4-person SDET team while remaining hands-on in automation architecture, internal tooling, and quality process design.
Built and evolved a UI automation framework from scratch that remained stable through multiple frontend technology changes and later adapted to support SaaS product integration with a completely different UI. Recreated the original Selenium-based automation framework in Playwright to support modernization of UI automation capabilities and demonstrate portability of framework design.
Designed and built TESTLAB, an internal platform used by manual QA and SDETs to standardize testing workflows, shorten test turnaround time, reduce context switching, and centralize execution, reporting, and environment operations.
Built and maintained approximately 1,100 UI end-to-end tests across 13+ environments, reducing manual regression workload by about 75% and making automation the primary regression layer.
Created one-click multi-VM environment update workflows and centralized automation reporting used by QA leadership as a primary go/no-go signal for emergency releases and late-breaking defects.
