Member of the Transaction Processing Facility (z/TPF) Lab, which is an Operating System that specializes in real-time transaction processing. Some of my roles within the lab are:

• Leading development efforts in improving the security of the z/TPF system

• Leading and participating in development efforts to enhance and optimize networking and server support on z/TPF

• OpenSSL Subject Matter Expert

• Applying critical security vulnerability patches

• Providing support for our customers i.e. investigating issues, debugging, providing playbacks, demos, presenting at conferences etc.

• Iteration Manager for our squad

• Developed Python scripts for image processing

• Analyzed existing source code and provided modifications, feedback, and documentation

• Presented brief-out session to CEO, Division Director, and Research Staff Members

• Designed structure of backend of a chemical genomics database

• Developed command line interfaces to interact with created databases

• Performed computational ligand docking experiments

• Presented research findings at Hunter's Undergraduate Research Conference

• Designed and carried out experiments pertaining to the cellular effects of shock wave therapy on

diseased heart cells

• Performed protocols including cell staining, slide preparation, fluorescent microscopy, Western Blot
