Tech lead for a team of 7 engineers focusing on backend payment processing features, general backend infrastructure, and reliability. Following a company wide pivot from an enterprise to a consumer product, I led the re-architecture and implementation of our engineering systems leading to a completely new product launch in under 3 months.

Fintech startup backed by $32M in funding from General Catalyst, Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) and others.

First employee at Ponto. Built a B2B payment processing system from scratch with the founding team. Responsible for the design and implementation of 10+ microservices that provided the core payment processing and pricing services powering the product. Led founding reliability and infrastructure efforts, scaling our API from 0 to 100 RPS and 99.9% availability. Helped grow the engineering team to 16 people.
