I first worked on the Inbox team, connecting small business owners with their customers via an online chat widget. I later transitioned to the Retail team, where I worked on projects that improved the checkout flow for retail staff using Shopify’s POS system.

I worked as part of a small team tasked with making Airbnb the only distribution platform hotels choose to work with, by building out a set of foundational hotel-focused tools for the Airbnb hosting platform.

• Led design initiative to adapt Airbnb’s hosting tools to better suit the needs of hoteliers and attract them to the platform

• Wrote scripts for and conducted dozens of user interviews, then synthesized feedback to establish usability and design direction

• Documented existing tools, knowledge, and processes to streamline onboarding new team members

As part of a very small team, I led a huge variety of user experience & marketing design projects:

• Redesigned the mobile web hotel-booking experience, leading to a +8% checkout conversion lift

• Designed multiple iterations of the hotel-facing inventory loader to support additional bookable dates and preference customizations for consumers

• Wrote scripts for and led over 100 hotel partner feedback sessions

• Contributed to the creation and maintenance of a design system

• Worked on a variety of graphics projects including logo design, visual identity development, product design, marketing materials, and document design
