Building in-app shopping ads infrastructure for Facebook and Instagram

• Architected and developed the authentication system of a new serverless offering of Azure Storage, removing customer overhead for secret management.

• Spearheaded the telemetry efforts of the new serverless feature, bootstrapping the metrics, service monitoring capabilities.

• Delivered the last access time tracking feature for Azure Blob Storage. This allows the customers to optimize storage costs based on data access patterns.

• Developed and led various components of the serverless offering of Azure Storage, including diagnostics of failures, blob processing and task scheduling.

• Developed a migration solution for Azure Storage containers with a container level immutability policy to a blob version level policy. Helped in the customer retention of some major Fortune 500 companies.

• Part of the on-call rotation for the partition layer of Azure Storage, crucial role for the broad service availability.

• Developed an optimized task splitting mechanism in efforts to push Lifecycle management' success rate to 99.9%.

As part of the Azure Blob Storage and Data Management team,

• Designed and developed Immutable Storage with Versioning service, supporting blob level immutable (WORM) policies, enabling customers to safeguard critical data against accidental or malicious alterations.

• Developed robust data management capabilities such as blob version, snapshot management with lifecycle management policies.

• Part of the team's on-call responsible for maintaining SLO, with less than a day response rate for any severe issue.

Previously FamPay. Simplifying digital payments in India for teenagers. Involved in the core product development team and the zero to one bootstrapping of the company.
