I worked on making a new framework to scale out entity search functionality as our product moved to a SaaS model, with millions of entities requiring search/filtering/sorting functionalities in real-time. The new framework was built on MongoDB and Apache ActiveMQ and achieved the following goals:

a. Improved API response times by ~80%

b. Data was moved on-disk instead of in-memory, bringing down memory usage

c. Enabled one dataset to serve all user sessions instead of building dataset per user session.

This was a high impact project and targeted at improving API response times for high-count entities.

I'm working on push-notification framework for triggered events, authentication & security protocols. My work includes handling overall architecture design & full-stack development of projects. Following are the key projects that I work on:

Push notification Framework for mobile apps - Designed the architecture to send triggered notifications to mobile devices. Designed the notification server framework architecture and lead a team of 3 mobile developers to see this project to completion. Used Apache ActiveMQ, Google Firebase as helper modules.

Worked under Prof. Jonny Wong as TA for a Software Engineering course on Portfolio Development and for another software engineering course on P2P Systems.

Worked on adding OpenID Connect support SSO capability to Commvault Content Store. This allowed enterprise customers to allow their users to access Content Store using OpenId Connect Identity Provider.
