I lead and design UX/UI and research for digital experience projects for New Zealand's education sector (teachers, students, school staff, caregivers, families, and internal staff). This includes discovery, user engagement research, ideation, wireframing, information architecture, metadata, taxonomies, information design and content design, visual design and delivery. Ensuring the UX process is undertaken on all projects.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting user research, usability site reviews, competitor analysis to gain an understanding of the problems, solutions and how might these be approached.
• Creating personas, interaction, experience, journey and empathy maps to gain a better understanding of the users, customers and target audiences.
• Restructuring Information Architecture (IA) through Information Design and Data Visualisation
• Crafting design documents and presentations
• Creating interactive prototypes to communicate designs to project team, developers and project sponsors
• Running confluence, information architecture and user experience workshops with executive assistants and senior staff
• Presenting solutions and designs to C-suite executives
• Mentored UX and IT Interns, bringing them confidence and experience on UX projects at Ministry of Education.
